I spent 23 years working as an ER doctor in Fort Worth. I was the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Harris Methodist Southwest for 10 years-Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine. Since opening in 2011 I have been the Medical Director at Tri Cities Urgent Care.
I am married and have 4 kids. I have lived and raised my kids in the Aledo community since 1990. I now live in the country west of Brock making my wife happy and dabbling in the stock market.
Tarah Bertzyk, MPAS, PA-C
Tarah Bertzyk is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in Family Medicine. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Health Care Management from the University of Northern Colorado. She then earned a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Fort Worth, Texas. Ms. Bertzyk is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Ms. Bertzyk is proud to have been enlisted active duty in the United States Air Force.
In her spare time Ms. Bertzyk enjoys riding horses and outdoor activities with her husband, James, and children, Madison and Mason.

*Extensive experience in Family Medicine, Urgent Care, and Emergency Medicine.
*Board certified as FNP through American Nurse’s Credentialing Center and the Texas Board of Nurse Examiner’s.
*Has held certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
*Happily married with 2 children.
*Interest include: storm chasing, sports, and spending time with family.
Family Nurse Practitioner
Chris graduated from Midwestern State University with both his undergraduate (1998) and graduate degree (2013). He has been a practicing Family Nurse Practitioner since September, 2013. Prior to becoming an FNP, he had 16 years’ experience as an ER, ICU/CCU RN. Active member of Texas Nurse Practitioners Association.
Chris is married with one adult daughter and grandson and two elementary school daughters. He enjoys outdoor activities including long distance running with his wife. They have run several full marathons and more than a dozen half marathons together.
